Devil’s Hopyard State Park
It was a misty morning, the fog was heavy, and Julianna and I met before sunrise to capture her beauty.
The park was empty and beautifully quiet, we filled the crisp air with chatter of life, love, and our hopes for the future.
I can see many hiking adventures with this lady in the future, she is such an adventurous spirit!
Let’s get to know Julianna a little bit better:
…I’m part of an all-girls book club, and right now we’re reading A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner. It’s a dual narrative about two women who live a century apart, but are connected to each other by suffering a great loss in their life. I like the book’ message, which is really about the resiliency of love and the idea that love can make even life’s greatest tragedies much more bearable.
…I work as a newspaper reporter and am SO passionate about telling people’s stories. My job gives me the opportunity to meet and interact with so many different kinds of people, and at the same time, fulfill my never-ending curiosity. It’s also made me understand the importance of being an open-minded and accepting person of those you may not always understand, but should treat with respect regardless.
…Sylvan Esso’s newest album “What Now.” Amelia Meath’s voice melts my heart!// If you could have any dessert in front of you right now what would it be?
…Tiramisu, no doubt.
